Prayers Needed!

I will share our exciting times in Houston on Wednesday, but I needed to make this post!

The economy sucks....everyone knows that....it's not a secret.

How many times have you heard people talking about how they don't care, as long as it doesn't affect them

I don't care, as long as I have food...

i don't care, as long as I have a job.

I don't care, about anyone but me.

Have you ever said that? Unfortunately...I did. At the end of last year, I just kept thinking...I'm so glad that it's not affecting me. Rhett and I have jobs, we have food, we have a house, we are provided for.

Fast forward to 3 weeks ago...Rhett didn't have a job, but thankfully we still have food and a house, and Praise God, He is still providing for us!

I found out today that some family just made a huge life changing move, and he found out that he lost his job...before he even started.

There are no words that can describe the sadness I have....not for us anymore, but for everyone else. I know that we will be ok....but what about everyone else. I know that God provides for each and everyone of us....no question...

So pray for your neighbor, the person you see holding up a sign on a street corner, the people you may not really like...pray for them, and pray for our family that just entered into a dark and scary wilderness today...

God will provide for each and everyone of us...I just need to remind myself to press into Him...trust Him and not to worry. Pray for our economy, that people will turn toward the Lord in their darker days and not to other "make-believe saviors"
