Isn't Romy and Michelle's one of the greatest movies ever?
Anyways the whole point is that Rhett has an interview with Raytheon in Tucson on Thursday and Friday. AND it just so happens to be my birthday on thursday, and instead of hanging out by myself, I am going with him! At 7PM tonight I will be yelling, "Watch out Tucson, here we COME!" and praying that the plane doesn't make the same noise that theirs did!
In all the excitement of an unplanned birthday trip, I remind myself that this is an amazing job opportunity for Rhett. I am just asking for ya'lls prayers during this trip. First and foremost for safe travels, but secondly that this interview goes well. He's only had a few, and it can be very discouraging, especially after being unemployed for almost 2 months!
So please just pray for us. I know that God reveals His plans in His time, and in the mean time we are just trying to stay patient and be ready!
I will definitely keep you all informed! We are so excited!
Here are my our plans for the next few days...
Wednesday night:
Arrive at around 8PM and head to In-N-Out Burger (we have never been and I am pumped, it's almost my birthday right? I am going to milk this for all I've got)
Thursday:
Rhett goes out for interviewing stuff....I will be alone for like 7 hours (on my birthday) so I am going to go to a mall/see a movie/get seriously lost in Tucson
THEN, we will go out to Oregano's, an Arizona chain pizzeria (which is supposed to be AMAZING)
Friday:
Rhett has interviewing stuff for 5ish hours THEN off to Lil Abner's, by recommendation for the Whited's!
THEN, fly back to ABQ!
Can't wait!

Oh how exciting!! I will pray that the interviews go great (although I will be VERY sad if you leave us) and that you guys have a great time.
Oh another GREAT place to go is Out of Africa (a really cool wildlife park). I am not sure where it is located now but definitely worth it to go!!!
Check out the Sonora Desert Museum, too. It's a great place to walk around. See the native wildlife and the awesome hummingbird exhibit! have fun! Good luck, Rhett! Oh and call ahead for Lil Abner's!!
I'll keep you both in my prayers and I hope your husband gets the job! I know how he feels, I'm going on two months being unemployed myself, and I am sooooo ready to go back to work!
