thankfully all that was apparently stolen was our nice tv and my house sitter's laptop.
thankfully we had a house sitter
most importantly, my dog is safe and unharmed...and was apparently sitting on the couch hanging out....stupid dog, but at least he's still alive and wasn't hurt.
Even when I can't stop crying, I'm reminded how blessed we are in this situation. My poor house sitters weren't hurt, I still have a stupid dog to come home to, and my husband lost his wedding gift also which is only fair since I lost my sunglasses (my wedding gift) in the Mazatlan coastal waters. Thank you God for a better outcome in a crappy situation....it could have much worse....
did I mention we are hundreds of miles away in Tucson, and can't leave until Sunday? Yeah pretty neat huh? now I am going to get a cold washcloth and work on the swollen eyes I currently am sporting...

HUGS!!!!!
I am glad that Max is safe. A TV and laptop can easily be replaced.
Oh mama-I'm so sorry! But your previous friend's comment couldn't be more right-material things are easy to replace, your sitter and Max are not. Big hugs!
I'm so sorry! I'll bet you are grateful that no one is harmed, though I can imagine how hard it must be.
Oh no how awful. I am so sorry to hear that. It must be horrible.
Ugh, people are such JERKS! I am so sorry, it's not just that they stole from you, but the fact that it's a total invasion of privacy!
So glad it wasn't much worse and that your dog and the house sitters are okay!
I'm so sorry Kelley! Poor you, have a safe trip back and try not to think about it too much, won't change anything. Take care and see you this week.
Oh no, that is awful!
