FOUND (I think)

A few months back, I wrote about what seemed to be a never ending search for a church.

Well, we may have found one!

But first, I have a side story to tell you all.

I went to a small Methodist college in Texas, and I LOVED it.  I was meant to go to a small school.  I met some of the most wonderful people, and left there with brothers, sisters, and supportive adults who really cared about me and wanted me to succeed.  My professors and the President of the college knew me and we still keep in contact.

Well, while Rhett and I were trying out yet another church, we sat down in a traditional Methodist church in the retirement community about 10 minutes south of us.  I look up at the pulpit, then turn and tell Rhett that I knew one of the ladies sitting up there.  Well in fact it was a former professor, who has since retired and become a part time pastor.  Even though her church isn't the church for us, I feel that God allowed our paths to cross 4 years after I graduated.  It was so nice to see her!  I love McMurry!

Ok, now back to the original topic.  We went to a new church this morning, at the invitation of a new friend, and felt welcomed.  Finally!  There were people our age, that were so nice, and they invited us to their 20s-30s/Young Marrieds Bible Study.

It has been one year of searching, dashed hopes, loneliness, and  prayer, but it is always in His perfect timing!
